Master chef, restaurateur, and author David Thompson has spent more than 30 years studying and celebrating the intricacies of Thai cuisine. In 2001, his Bangkok destination Nahm became the first restaurant in Thailand to earn a Michelin star. His cookbooks—Thai Food and Thai Street Food—are leading English-language references on Thai cuisine for the culinary world. Now he’s drawing on decades of cooking experience and farmer relationships to act as the sourcing director and head chef for Khong Thai, all with the mission of sharing the best of Thai cuisine with the wider world.
